At Idaho Falls Music Academy, we strongly encourage but never require our students to participate in recitals and other performances scheduled throughout the year.
Music is meant to be heard and performed. Recitals provide a tangible way to do just that. Performing in a recital provides the recognition and heart-felt praise a student deserves for hard work and persistent practice. The lessons learned from preparing for an upcoming recital are invaluable life skills. It takes dedication, diligence, drive, and time management to prepare for an upcoming performance.
Performing gives one a sense of accomplishment and provides a boost of confidence. Participation in recitals also promotes a sense of community and an opportunity to get to know fellow students, to cheer them on and learn from their performances.
Our recitals are formal, and we encourage students to dress up for the occasion. Formal recitals provide the opportunity to perform on a big stage with other performers in front of a large, enthusiastic crowd.
Idaho Falls Music Academy recitals are a judgment free, fun and friendly opportunity for students of any age to demonstrate their hard work and courage for their teachers, family and friends. To participate, please complete the recital application and media release form below at least two weeks prior to the date of the performance.
A recital fee of $25.00 will be added to the next month's invoice.
