Yes. In fact it all starts with the free trial lesson. If you've never taken lessons before, or even if you have, you'll want to know what to expect and what's expected of you. As they say, this helps to make sure that “everyone is on the same page”. And, of course, you'll want to meet your teacher. If everything goes well, which we know it will, you'll be ready to get started.
Students may enroll for lessons at any time during the year. Regardless of the date of enrollment, each student is guaranteed a total of 40 lessons in any 12- month period. It is understood that enrollment is for the entire term. Holidays and all other scheduled breaks, including an extended summer break have been accounted for and will not reduce the total number of lessons a student receives.
You will find our rates very competitive. Our students soon discover that the value they receive from studying music at Idaho Falls Music Academy far exceeds the cost. For more detailed information, please refer to our “Terms Of Service” page.
Do you offer discounts for families?
Yes. Families with more than three enrolled students receive a 10 percent discount. For more detailed information, please refer to our “Terms Of Service” page.
Can I sit in on my child's lesson?
Absolutely. At Idaho Falls Music Academy, we maintain an "open door policy", Parents are always welcome to observe lessons and in some cases are encouraged to participate.
No. It is not our goal to coerce a student to take lessons. Our family of students choose to stay with us because they make steady progress and grow as both musicians and individuals. Many come to think of their teacher as part of the family! However, if you do need to stop your lessons for any reason, we ask for the courtesy of a 30-day notice.
If a lesson must be missed or canceled, a notice of 12 hours is required in order to become eligible to schedule a make-up lesson. Make-up lessons are available to eligible students and are scheduled between the hours of 9:00 and 1:00 on the second Saturday of every month, with the exception of holidays and summer break.
It’s easy! Simply fill out the registration form and submit the appropriate registration fee. As soon as we receive it, a representative of Idaho Falls Music Academy will call to schedule your first regular lesson. From there, you’re on your way.
